Hoarding is a project that I hold very close to me. My goal for this work was to help people understand how my brain works and to show that, as a neurodivergent artist, I process things differently from everyone else. I attempted to achieve this by exhibiting my bedroom, a piece heavily influenced by Tracey Emin's My Bed.

The "posters" are actually digital, full-frame images I took of tobacco pouches I had hoarded over the years. The sequence of them becoming progressively messed up is a reflection of the vigorous cycles my life goes through: starting off clean, tidy, and organised, until slowly falling apart into a chaotic mess. This is also a homage to my previous problems with addiction; around the time of making this project, I had just quit cigarettes but was still relying heavily on pouches for my nicotine fix. Around this time, I also got sober from drugs and alcohol.
